A place worth visiting in Jiangxi, Kaolin Mine Site Park
The Kaolin Mine Site Park consists of two scenic spots: Gaoling Site and Dongbu Ancient Street. Gaoling-Dongbu is one of the first batch of historical and cultural villages in Jiangxi Province. Among them, Gaoling is a famous porcelain raw material production area in ancient China and the place where the world-renowned "Kaolin" was named.

Dongbu was the distribution center of Jingdezhen porcelain raw materials such as kaolin and glaze fruit during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is known as the "source of the Maritime Silk Road". The ancient streets, ancient shops and ancient docks are still relatively intact here, and it is the location for filming movies such as "The Red Star".
The entire Dongbu Ancient Street is divided into Shangjie Street, Zhongjie Street and Xiajie Street. The street is about three meters wide and paved with bluestone and granite. There are many shops on both sides of the street. There was originally a dock on the east and west sides of Dongbu Ancient Street, but now only the dock on the east side is well preserved.

The Kaoling Ruins is the core area of the Kaolin Mine Ruins Park, and the tour starts from the "Ancient Road". The ancient road was built in the Song Dynasty. It is 2.5 kilometers long and 2 meters wide. It is entirely paved with granite and has 5,600 steps. In the past 200 years, miners used this road to carry loads of kaolin to the Dongbu Wharf and then transported it to From Jingdezhen.
After 200 years of mining in Kaoling Mountain, many mining sites have been left behind. Ancient mines are one of the most striking features. There are hundreds of ancient mines in Kaoling Mountain, and four of them are well preserved to this day.
The geomantic treasure land of the Kaolin Mine Site Park is not only the capital of ceramics, but also a Jinshi hall that shows family etiquette, a venue for anti-Japanese mobilization rallies, a Red Army guerrilla station, and Ming and Qing commercial streets that confirm the prosperity of the past.
