On this basis, Hengyuan Mining Company actively responded to the country's "Belt and Road" call and made early arrangements for overseas resource surveys.


The Rambutan Kaolin Mine in Ipoh is located in a coastal low mountain and hilly terrain with well-developed vegetation and abundant water resources. The lowest elevation in the mining area is 130 meters, the highest elevation is 298 meters, the maximum height difference is 168 meters, and the average height difference is about 135 meters. The local economic cooperative has already cut down all the plants and trees in the mining area, and built a circular mountain road up and down the mountain (for cars to drive on), and also built a 64-meter terraced level. The mining area has actually completed artificial adaptation and has good mining conditions.
Pit exploration, the team of Hengyuan Mining Company used medium and large excavators to carry out comprehensive pit exploration in the mining area. Through the exploration pit, the state of shallow kaolin was revealed, samples and geological identification were collected, and component testing was carried out at the same time, achieving fruitful results.
Geophysical exploration, through geophysical exploration to determine the layered structure and changes of kaolin ore bodies 80 to 100 meters below the surface, the resistivity physical detection method was selected, including 2 2D linear profiles and 10 cross profiles, forming two 2D linear profile images and five 3D stereo images, providing important basis for mining design and reserve calculation.
Drilling, drilling engineering is an important part of this exploration work. A total of 10 boreholes with a total length of 602 meters were completed, forming six geological profiles, on the one hand to verify the geophysical imaging, and on the other hand to control the reserves of the first phase of mining area.
It is planned to invest 500 million yuan for plant construction, comprehensive mining and deep processing of kaolin and quartz stone, with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons.
